Helllllllo its been a pretty nice end to a hectic, tiring and basically mundane school week and since I stayed back in school with sheryl to complete some homework just now while waiting for Joanne, I decided to give myself a break now! ^^

Had our reunion dinner at Sakura Internation Buffet as usual, this year we went to Admiralty Park again cos my parents swear there's more food (its apparently the biggest outlet? hahaha) but I'm like okay what, same only!

Basically we were on duty for 2 days, the first being for Amazing Race. where we were stationed at.... *drumroll* TJ HALL -.- ikr haha. The only good thing was that we were the first and last station, so after the first batch of OGs turned up we were free the whole day, and we had first-come-first-served access to the canteen! :D
And on the second day, we were down for Mass Games duties (where we are wearing the ugly green shirts :() It was busier than the first definitely, but damn fun :)

It was a pretty good concert for 5 bux, though I'm not really a Chinese Orchestra fan but... still good! :) And thank you ziyi for giving us a lift home (or rather, your parents!)

Yeah that pretty much sums up my past few weeks! :) Just came home not too long ago from dinner with Joanne at Old Airport Road, savouring a tub of laoban now while chatting to her and bro online /hearts. And listening to OneRepublic's Mercy, and All About Us by He is We too! (Y) Okay I better sleep soon, meeting her for a jog tomorrow morning! :( Road run next weeeeeeek aliqansdqsdnq!

Some random thoughts running through my head before I end this post:
- Sian I realised the only thing I'm looking forward to next week is my vday date with the family :(
- Just want to rant, THE HAWKER CENTRE OPP TJ IS GONNA BE CLOSING FOR 10 MONTHS! 10 MONTHS LEH. WHAT AM I GONNA EAT :'( I wanted to eat charkwayteow for the last time today, so I went opp with hannah during lunch, but AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT, the auntie said I had to wait half an hour, which I couldnt cos my lesson was in 50 min... I'm still damn sad now. :(
- The J1s are in hooraaaaay. So we have stuff to gossip about :D on the flipside, TJ seems too small now :/

And this is gonna be my last update for awhile, cos as you would probably have guessed, school is sucha bitch right now I dont really have time for a proper post sigh.

On a final note, its becoming much easier to stop missing you, and start disliking you.
Guess this is where it ends. for real.

Some random thoughts that have been running through my mind recently :/

Though we've sorted out our differences and quarrels and all it kinda saddens me to know its no longer possible for the four of us to return to how we were before I really regret taking for granted the simplicity the trust the laughter and the closeness we once had when we met up so frequently had inside jokes and just somehow understood each other I really miss waiting for each other where the two of us would watch movies while waiting for your training to end or having dinner after tiring pw sessions and even just walking to the int together and camwhoring but right now it has all come to this where we're no longer speaking as a group but more of one to one and for some not at all though I'm not gonna blame anyone.
If life had a rewind button i wouldnt just rewind it i would freeze the moment in time you all used to be such a big part of my Jc life and I'd give anything to have us back but I guess I have to learn to live with it when things no longer work out

Anyway, for this post I'm just gonna put my new year resolutions down in black and white :) I know it's kinda late, but hey, its still Jan LOL, and it could be just in time for Chinese New Year too hehhhh.

So, my 12 new year resolutions! (Remember last year I had 11 for 2011? So this year 12 for 2012! Hahaha ok not very funny zz):

1. Get at least 4As for 'A' levels this year! 3 H2s and 1 H1 at the very least. And so, this brings me to my resolutions to stop slacking so much (especially with my new phone haiz), do my homework, ALL OF THEM, and FOCUS.
But I am still last min chionger lol :/

2. Jog weekly besides PE lessons in school. Die die must try. Gonna start working on this immediately after cny with joanne! :)

3. Save at least $1k! Including my pay from TIP and all. I must stop spending money unnecessarily I must stop spending money unnecessarily I must stop spending...... (Ohno but I see so many nice iPhone covers!)

4. Don't care too much for people I know aren't worth it, and then neglect/care less about people who do. Yes my prioritizing kinda sucks, even to friendships haha :/

5. This is kinda linked to #4: stop overreacting in friendships and be chill, forgive and forget and all that haha. Tend to take certain things too seriously :/

6. Regardless of anything, any past conflicts I may have had with them, bad feelings, awkwardness etc, keep as many friendships as I can, especially old ones.

7. Go to the temple more! And at least once without my mum, cos I wanna learn all the traditions involved and all lol. And stop going only when exams come, cos I feel really bad :/

8. Take more care of my hair and skin! This is so random but seriously haha. My hair has been unrebonded for MONTHS cos im too lazy/not free to go to a hairstylist to get it done, and it has also been uncut and I just use normal shampoo and conditioner and hair dry it. TERRIBLE SHAPE NOW, I should start putting time aside to apply hair treatment before I sleep. Same goes for my skin especially my face haha.

9. TRY MORE NEW FOOD :) Last year I was really exposed to lots of new makan places like Old Airport Road, Katong Centre, and such. Gonna make it a point to look out for and try new food places and bbt flavours HAHA.

10. Don't go over my SMS/MMS/Call/Data Access limit on my phone. At all. For the whole year. I will seriously cry if I do hahaha.

11. Don't get into any trouble in school the whole year! I was already late once SIGH. Cannot get RC please! (Read: Detention)

12: This one is a private one that only one person knows HAHAHA. Along with a whole lot of other shitty random stuff about me zzz I might have to kill him if I get attached/engaged one day!

Here's my 12! :D I swear I didnt cheat for the last one haha. It IS there, and I'll tell you if I managed to do it... next year :D hehe. Okay goodnight world New Year's Eve tomorrow/ later woohoo!

THE BEST LONG WEEKEND OF THE YEAR IS HEREEEE (:

Okay I shall update backwards lol.

So today was the cny celebrations in TJ :) Before the performances, we actually still had 2 more lessons wtf, one of them being a CHEMISTRY SPA PLANNING TEST :( which I obviously screwed up, haha. I should start to buck up for chemistry if I don't want to drop to H1 after all I went through, sigh. Oh and before the lectures I was nearly late for the second time in 5 years! The first was 1 week ago, and the irony of it was that school started later than usual at 9.45 am. But since my dad didnt drive me and I took the bus, I ended up being super late :( For the very first time in 5 years. Love cally chew for waiting for me at the int though, and ending up being late with me. Sorrrrrrry girl! :( hahah ♥
Anyway, the performances were much better this year than the previous year's, when I was still new in TJ and all. Maybe it was cos the performers were people I actually knew, from my batch, so I felt more enthusiastic and all hehe. Was in high spirits when I left for zhonghua after everything with Ivan, Weijie, Xinhui and Valerie (: Caught a bit of the celebrations in the hall and chatted with a few teachers, before going opposite for lunch :) I'll never get tired of the fried fish bee hoon soup there omfg it is the best and the nicest and the uncle knows me! ^^

Anyway, we were talking about how small our group (of zhss-ians turned tjc-ians) had become, haha, but its kinda true in a sad way :/ Nevertheless, I'm never gonna pangseh them in the mornings, and I'll always look for them at our usual spot before school every single morning until we graduate (:

Weijie and bro accompanied me to Nex to walk around and look for iPhone covers (more on that later! ^^) and I confess that I was super indecisive hahaha, so thank youuuu you 2. Got koi with weijie at compass before heading home. And then my sister had to call me just as I reached home to beg me to bring money out for her to buy dinner and pay for her kbox session, so I've to go out again later, tsk!

I would say today has been a good end to a really hectic and mundane week of school, and the beginning to what I hope would be an awesome cny :D The week has been crazy, with test after test continuing from last week, and we have a new maths tutor who we seen nearly every freaking day ldlasfsfsnkda!! The best part is she is super strict and expects us to prepare our tutorials beforehand, and when she threatened genghao with disciplinary action (Read: calling his parents. Believe me, I know what he means when he said he'd rather do detention than that :/), I got super scared too and completed all my homework :( Sigh. Also, Thursday was a really really looong day, running on Monday's timetable, which means that we had 2 periods of Bio SPA in the afternoon followed by PE zzz. Surprisingly enough, though, I actually found running much easier this time than before, and didnt dread it as much :O
Took the pasir ris route with genghao home after school and was so lazy that I actually hopped onto 87 at my stop even when I could've walked home, hehe.

Okay I'm just gonna blog random events I can remember, too lazy to list all out!

GO GREEN DAY
1 word: Exhausting. We had 7 blocks to cover as a class and there was just so much newspapers and old clothes omfg. At one house, there was a whole stack, and I mean WHOLE, up to my chest level, of newspapers waiting for us and when genghao and I saw it, we just stopped and laughed hysterically. LOL. Was grouped with him, sheryl and a tj chemistry teacher who was really nice anyway :) After the whole thing, we had lunch as a class and mrs chua treated us to bubble tea (Y) Starting not to dread/dislike her so much lol :X okay and then I went home and slept for like 3 hours before tuition. And after tuition I saw this...........

FREAKING LOVE MY MUM AND SIS FOR ACTUALLY QUEUEING UP TO GET THIS FOR ME!! ♥♥♥ I couldnt go with them cos I had tuition, so I asked if they could help me check if it was here and buy it if the queue wasnt too long. But it was! AND THEY STILL QUEUED. omg touched lol. They pranked me when they got back, leaving the starhub bag at the foot of the stairs and I was trying so hard to hide my disappointment when they came up empty-handed but then my mum made me go to the staircase and look LOL.

So this is what it looks like now (After the Rilakkuma cover and the screen protector I bought today :) )

I am so satisfied and contented hehe.

Ohyes I forgot to blog about the 17/11 class chalet in my last entry ._. Shall just spam pictures ripped from facebook!

On a final note, my classmates and I have been discussing SOPA for the past few days, and I REAAAALLLY HOPE THE LAWMAKERS WHO WANNA PASS THE BILL COME TO THEIR SENSES PLEASE. What is an internet without content sharing?! :(

And I'm happy to say that I've cleared all my debts (both monetary and emotional) already :) Had alot of issues over the past 2 months, but I'm glad I took the initiative to clear everything up. Feels alot better having a friend than an enemy! Hope we can take it real slow now and one day we may be able to gain back what we had :/

So... It was my last day at SPH. :(

What I'll definitely miss:

1. My awesome colleagues ofcourse :( I really never expected to be able to intern in one of the youngest, funnest depts in sph hehe. I enjoyed all the inside jokes and teasing and laughing at contributions :B heh. I will miss all of them esp the webknowledgists so much! Yes, webknowledgist, google that :D

What I regret not doing today:

1. I told Jonathan (the other intern from tj) that before leaving, I MUST try Molly's bbt and spinelli, cos they're sold in/around sph... and I tried the former yesterday! But didnt get to try spinelli yet HAHA. Wasted siol~

2. Sending my emails fast enough! Cos I kiasu send 2, then my official/formal one never got sent before they deactivated my account SIGH

3. Taking more pics. lololol :B

4. Going out for dinner with my colleagues :( I would have loved to do that, but I already promised xinyee joanne ziyi dinner cos we wanted to celebrate da xiao jie xy's birthday! Really hope I get to do that soon anyway haha

Then I had to leave earlier as usual so yeah well. Can't believe we celebrated her 13th birthday like 5 years ago though omg, now we're celebrating her 18th birthday! TIME FLIES LIKE CRAAAAAAAZY.

Last day of 2011/First day of 2012 post ♥

It's 31 Dec 2011~

Spent the last day of the year with my families hehe. Met joanne & bro for lunch, and then went to watch The Darkest Hour with my real family at night. :) Btw, illuma sucks nao, cos its currently undergoing construction. Like wtf, I knew it was renovating, but I had no idea it was so bad, the escalators were down, and we had to take the lift which was packed. Tsk.

Ohwell gonna put aside my posts about the holidays & my internship, and chiong this post before the new year! :)
